March 30: National Take a Walk in the Park Day

National Take a Walk in the Park Day is celebrated annually on March 30th to encourage us to go outside and explore nature’s beauty.  It is an amazing opportunity to visit your local park with your dog. Dogs adore going for walks, to the extent where many owners spell out w-a-l-k when discussing the activity to prevent their pets from becoming unduly excited. Sound familiar?

There are several activities you can do with your dog at the park for instance, practicing obedience, letting them play with other dogs, or playing fetch with them.
